Puertecitos is known for its hot springs, and is just 55 miles or 90 KM from San Felipe, Baja California. If you decide to visit Puertecitos while vacationing in San Felipe, you will be heading South on Mexico 5 highway. Just follow the easy to follow signs and you will get there in approximately an hour on the newly paved highway. You will essentially be driving towards the San Felipe airport. Just before the airport, make a left turn and from there is a straight road all the way down.

The hots springs are essentially caused by the receding Sea of Cortez waters. As the waters rise and recede with the tides, pools of water are created which form the nice relaxing oasis to chill out in.

Things to Note:
Gas Stations: Gas stations hours in Puertecitos are irregular, so tank up in San Felipe before you head out.
